The Bee’s Knees opened in February of 2019 and has been serving locals and tourists alike with hand selected items that represent “The Bee’s Knees”. Our selection of merchandise range from garden to kitchen and everything in between. Every day is fun for us and we are always looking for the best gifts and essentials for you.

People ask, “What does the Bee’s Knees mean?” It means something very special and unique, impressive or really great!! (ie. The Cat’s Meow). We think it is very special and impressive. We know you will too. Stop on by… we have plenty of parking right out front. 

We are Louise and Jackie. 

Louise is a mother of three sons and has owned various businesses over the last 25 years. You might know her from Louise’s Place. Yup, same Louise. She sold to Marsha and Dan a few years ago and was retired, but now spends her time at market, making quilts and hand-crafted items and spending time behind the counter waiting for you.

Jackie is the mother of five and retired from the University of Minnesota-Duluth (38 years) and Kohls (15 years). Jackie, knowing one crochet stitch, creates the kitchen towels and loves visiting with our customers. 

Seeing new and returning customers is the best. We look forward to seeing all of you each day.
